Experience the academic, social, and spiritual programs of our

Christian boarding high school

Monterey Bay Academy is hosting ACADEMY DAYS on March 14th & 15th, 2026. This open house is for grade 7 to 11 students and their families. Prospective students will be able to tour the campus, experience the spiritual and social activities on campus, visit classes with MBA students, stay in the dorms overnight and get more enrollment and financial aid information.

Saturday, March 14

11:10-12:30 pm: Church Service

12:30-1:30 pm: Lunch (Cafeteria)

2–2:30 pm: Registration/Check-in (MBA Gym)

2:30-3:30 pm: Group Activities (Gym)

3:30-4:30 pm: Beach Activities

5-5:45 pm: Supper (Cafeteria)

6-6:45 pm: Vespers (Church)

7–9 pm: MBA Talent Showcase (Baker Chapel)

9:15-9:30 pm: Worship (Dorms)

10:30 pm: Lights Out

Sunday, March 15

7:15-7:50 am: Breakfast (Cafeteria)

8-8:30 am: Registration for Sunday Arrivals (Grunke Hall Lobby)

8-8:30 am: Worship and Announcements (Baker Chapel)

8:45-11:40 pm: Campus & Academic Life Group Tours (Various Classrooms)

10-11:30 am: Principal’s Reception for Parents & Sponsors (Cafeteria)

11:40-12:40 pm: Farewell Program — Scholarship & Prize Giveaways

12:40-1:30 pm: Lunch

Financial Incentive

A $50 application fee will be waived for those who attend Academy Days.

Everyone

This event is absolutely free! Just relax and enjoy everything MBA has to offer.
Meals are provided — the name badge you receive at registration will be your meal ticket.

Students

You will be staying in a dorm room with an MBA student, so remember to bring your bedding (sleeping bag & pillow), toiletries, towels, casual clothes, athletic clothes, etc. (except for those coming Sunday only).
Be prepared to make new friends and have fun!

Parents/Guardians

We encourage you to attend and participate in all the events. We have a Principal's Reception for parents on Sunday morning, where Financial Aid information will be given, and other common questions and concerns will be addressed by our Boys/Girls Deans and Administration.

Lodging

Unfortunately, MBA does not have on-campus lodging for Parents; however, there are many hotels in close proximity.
In an emergency, we will need your cell phone or other contact number.
